Hollydaze

January has been lots of fun. Here are some highlights.

Issy and Jecky came to stay for a few days...

... and we had a lovely New Year catch up with Lola and Hazel Yates. 

Hazel in the middle, Lola on the right. Poss calls Hazel Nut for short.

Then we headed over to Waiheke for some special time with our English cuzzies.

 Poss enjoyed paddling very much.

 And Eely and 'Mulsy' were never far away.

 Orla had no time for paddling..

... she and Issy couldn't get enough of the waves.

 

Again the cuzzies were absolute life savers!

 Thank you all so much for all your help and for another wonderful Waiheke holiday.

 

Time to say goodbye to cuzzies...

 ... and hello to Nana Raine! :)

We spent a lovely week in the Coromandel together. Here we are on a bush walk to find the big rimu trees.

 Almost there!

Found them!

 

For our second week we were joined by Jon's sister Sarah, husband Nick, and cuzzies Oscar and Maisie. Backyard cricket proved popular with the kids.

And again, Orla was never far from the water.

 

 Poss was much more interested in running away from the waves...

 ... destroying as many castles as she possibly could....

.... or jumping off the sand bank.
