Six weeks ago today, there was one Dadda, one Mumma and two smalls in our family...
And then another small arrived, a very tiny small indeed.
This is our new little sister Vita Rose Austen Hill, born 8lb 2oz by caesarean section at 2.15pm on 12th February 2014.
First night with Mumma... very sleepy squirrel :)
The next day, me and Poss met Vita for the first time.
Possy's first hold.
A few days later, Mum transferred to the luxury of Birthcare in Parnell and we visited again!
Mum's view of the Domain
Thank you Great Aunt Ginny for Vita's little donkey friend!
And Dan and Mary Clare for the carrot hat!
Home time!
And special Birth Day pressies from Vita. A camera for me...
... and a balance bike for Sylvie.
Here's me off to my first gymnastics lesson in my beautiful leotard from Nana Raine.
That night we gave Vita her first big bath.
Start of a brand new day.
That first weekend we had a morning tea party with the Wilkinsons and the Silvas who were here on holiday from Colorado.
This is our beautiful American cousin Calla Rose xo
Poss introduced her to the kiwi summer tradition of nudie rudie sprinkler fun.
And here we all are!
Some of you might be wondering about the strange title of this post.
Yes, Vita has already been nicknamed but not by us this time...

Not sure which one we prefer, The Banana Eater or Dadda's personal fave - Weasel.
Another feral animal name we hear you say.
Another post with more recent photos shall follow shortly xoxo
