First Night Out

Last night we took Orla out on the town for the very first time. First of all, we went to a farewell party for Belinda, Mike and Molly Henley who are heading home to NZ and then we carried on to the first reunion of our antenatal class. Orla is one of six new babies - there's Orla and Millie and Tilly and Willoughby and William and Ruby!

For her 'coming out' Orla chose a very glamorous raspberry pink spotted number sent from Haley McFadden in Australia and the cutest little Lamington socks from Nicki Mitchell in NZ!

Orla was so excited...

... she fell asleep before she left the house.

Thank goodness Bunny was on the lookout for action...

...which meant Orla had alot to tell Granny Di on Skype this morning...

... so much so, that Granny could hardly get a word in edgewise.

Orla is very excited that Nana Lorraine is now also on Skype and would now like to invite the rest of the family to join up, if you haven't already.

In other news, Orla is now 6 and a half weeks old, weighs 9lbs, 9 and we were right - she is 60 cm long which means she has an adult height potential of around 6 foot, which also means that I am set to be the dwarf of the family.
